An alle Vorstände der kantonalen Piraten!
Die kantonalen Datenschutzbeauftragten sind unter Druck! Mehrere Kantone
wollen das Budget für die Datenschutzbeauftragten signifikant kürzen. In
Genf und im Wallis können darum die Datenschutzbeauftragten ihre
wichtige Aufgabe nicht mehr zur vollen Zufriedenheit erfüllen. In Genf
wird das Budget um 30% reduziert und eine Gesetzesänderung ist auf dem
Weg welche sowohl die Anzahl Mitarbeitenden als auch den Umfang der
Aufgaben reduzieren will.
Die kantonalen Datenschutzbeauftragten sind wichtige Schlüsselpositionen
in unserer Wissensgesellschaft. Sie sind eine wichtige
Verteidigungslinie im Kampf um Datenschutz in den Kantonen.
Die Datenschutzbeauftragten werden von keiner Partei Unterstützt. Die
Piratenpartei muss ihnen daher zur Hilfe eilen.
Wir bitten alle Sektionsvorstände ein mit ihren Datenschutzbeauftraten
in Kontakt zu treten um die momentane Situation zu diskutieren und
Unterstützung anzubieten. Wir bitten uns auch über allfällige Ergebnisse
dieser Diskussionen zu infromieren.
