Member notification about memberservices¶
Members, which create or alter an account, will receive different emails, according to the request coresponding to their user- or forumaccount.The emails follow this process:
- Validating the mail adress
- Confirming the request (while pending)
- Confirming the processing of the request with accept or reject.
Therefore all organs and sections which are concerned, as well as the registrar queue will be notified. The member queue will be informed about every action so cheating is not an option.
Localisation format¶
The following email-titles are the ones that may be edited by hand. They follow the logic: forum-account, entry, exit, section change. Every email, for which the section is already known, may be localised by the corresponing secion but should be available in german/english/french/(italian).
For the following emails, excluding VerifyEmailForForumEmail, PasswordResetEmail and VerifyEmailForMemberEmail every section may propose their own local version. The registrar maintains the right to supplement these emails with general, national information and a coresponding footer. The emails will be composed with Textil, from which an HTML formatted as well as a plaintext mail, will be generated. This way every emailclient will be able to display the appropriate one.
Personalization using variables¶

Accessible for every user¶

- $$$UpdateUrl: URL to confirm the new address.
Only for email verification after a new registration¶

Notification for sections and the registrars¶
The following emails are prepared for the sections directoriates and the registrar's queue. They one serve to inform and the registrar has to modify these with the according certificates.
These emails will be sent to the OTRS queue of the according section and are to be viewed and processed there.
