Dear board,

As discussed with Alexis yesterday, we prepared a list of options in the workgroup DI for the board to chose from:

a) Standort Init7 (300Fr/Monat für 3HE, 5HE für 333Fr/Monat, Mindestvertragsdauer 3 Monate)
Vorteile:

• Kein Aufwand
• 24h Zugang

Nachteile:

• Beziehung zu Adfinis SyGroup und der bestehende Vertrag

b) Standort Adfinis (200Fr/Monat fuer 2HE, 3HE tbd, im Grunde zahlen wir nur den Strom, Mindestvertragsdauer 1 Jahr)
Vorteile:

• Hochsicherheits-RZ
• es besteht ein von der PPS abgeschlossener Vertrag

Nachteile:

• Kompletter Umbau der IP-Adressen Struktur
• Setup-Fees Init7 von 500 Fr. sind verloren
• Simon does not have time to do the move to Berne, so other members of the DI would need to do it.

c) 2 Standorte
Vorteile:

• Kein Umbau der Infrastruktur nötig
• Zusaetzliche Kapazitaet fuer neue Services (evtl. Kostensharing mit anderer Org)
• Einzelne Services können redundant ausgelegt werden
• Offsite-Backup

Nachteile:

• Kosten (Doppelte Betriebskosten, Anschaffung Hardware)

In all cases there would be the option for an additional /27 or /28 IP range to replace the current IP-range. This would reduce the workload of WG DI significantly and also helps the parties infrstructure to be future proof.
