Doch, es funktioniert. Das Problem ist, dass Redmine die Felder nicht aus der Datenbank lesen kann. Darum muss der Benutzer beim erstmaligen einloggen diese Daten manuell eingeben.
Variante 1: so lassen und die Benutzer verärgern.
Variante 2: Redmine kriegt die Berechtigungen die genannten Felder zu lesen.
Ich bevorzuge Variante zwei und bitte dich die ACLs anzupassen.
variante 3: die felder nicht aus ldap befüllen: implementiert.
wer unbeding will kann das immernoch tun. nachteil ist, dass man by default keine mail empfangen kann.
eine lösungsmöglichkeit wäre, jedem mitglied ein anonymes mail alias zu erzeugen, über das dann nachrichten geleitet werden könnten. so müsste man die mai addresse nicht preisgeben.

Variante drei entspricht Variante eins oder übersehe ich da etwas?
Der Mailproxy ist eine saubere Lösung zieht aber Aufwand mit sich. Gibt es ein Tool das dies von haus aus kann oder muss da etwas Eigenes gemacht werden?
Mein Ansatz wäre ein ein zusätzlich Attribut in LDAP (proxyMail) welches von Redmine gelesen werden kann. Dieses Attribut enthält eine Mailadresse nach dem Muster <uniqueIdentifier>@mailproxy.piratenpartei.ch
Unter mailproxy.piratenpartei.ch läuft eine Software welche die Mails empfängt, in der LDAP-Datenbank die reale Mailadresse (Attribut: mail) ausliest und die Nachricht weiter sendet.

Redmine verwendet nun für Name, Vorname und Nickname die uid. Für die E-Mail wurde das mail-atribute nach aussen freigegeben.
